In a large bowl cream together shortening, butter and cream cheese. Gradually add sugar and beat until fluffy. Combine flour and salt; gradually add to butter mixture, beating at low speed just until blended after each addition.
Add sugar one cup at a time and beat until light and fluffy; approximately.
Frost with THE BEST Pecan Cream Cheese Frosting.
Beat in eggs one at a time on low speed, just until the yellow disappears. Cream butter and cream cheese together in a mixing bowl until smooth. Beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy.
